Josh Densberger

Josh began his career in 2004 as a Firefighter for the Orange County Fire Rescue Department in Winter Park, Florida. In this position, Josh worked closely with the local community to increase their level of fire and life safety awareness with the goal of preventing accidents and injuries.

In 2011, he started teaching the principles of fire science and safety for Seminole State College in Sanford, Florida.

He joined the Waste Pro team in 2013 as the Corporate Safety Specialist. In this position he monitored and assessed hazardous and unsafe situations and developed measures to promote personnel safety.

In 2015 he was promoted to Corporate Safety Director, were he built plans, policies and procedures to correct unsafe behaviors among employees at Waste Pro. He was responsible for the implementation of initiatives related to occupational health and safety issues, incident management and injuries and hazards. He maintained relationships with regulatory agencies, including The Department of Transportation (DOT), The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Josh is currently Corporate Safety Manager at MSE Group, an international environmental, engineering, and construction firm.

He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from The University of Wyoming and a Master’s degree in Fire and Emergency Management from Oklahoma State University.

Josh is a fitness fanatic and prides himself on staying in shape even when his travel schedule gets in the way of the gym. He and his wife have three children who are, respectively, six years-old, four years-old and six months, whom they consider their primary hobby. In their free time, Josh and his family like to travel.
